Um, so, the bathrooms. They're a little, um, nasty. I have seen many concerning things in the PHS bathrooms. I don't wanna know what it's like in the boys bathrooms. I have seen bloody pads stuck to the wall, a lot of stalls don't lock, and about 4 sinks don't work. Most of the teachers suck, but there are a few really nice, chill ones. The dress code is pretty much not a thing at this point (or maybe even ever), there's girls literally wearing bras to school. I don't want to know what's in this school's lunch food. Um, I like the school layout, it's fun and has an outside middle part courtyard thing. I've sluffed a few times and teachers will just walk past me, saying nothing. Rarely do I hear a "get to class." Majority of the staff just literally don't care if you sluff. But it's cool cus like Kevin Bacon was in Footloose which was filmed at this school and he's coming back for prom, so yeah! Idk. Like, the school isn't THAT bad but it is very.. unique :)

I would describe Payson as a pretty average school. It is an older building, so of course the facilities aren't the greatest compared to other schools, but it's never bad to the point it's hard to work or do anything at school. They have amazing counselors and a big focus at Payson is college readiness. I've applied to many schools, looked at opportunities, and learned how to apply for extra scholarships all because of them. It is very easy to focus and the teachers I have had have been great for the most part. Sports are a little underwhelming if you're not on the football team, however. I am a soccer player, and we haven't been able to have a good coach my past three years here. We just don't get the backing, and part of that is just the fact that soccer is not a huge deal around the area anyway. But, I can say that I have had a great high school experience thanks to Payson!

I have gone to Payson High School for the past three years, and it has been a pretty good experience overall. There are definitely some things that should be changed, like how disgusting the bathrooms are and how many people are allowed to roam the halls during classes. There should be more reinforcement on the dress code and on the school policies because there are some that are not kept at all. On the flip side though, I have learned a lot in my time here and have gained an education. It has been fun and I am excited to say that I'll graduate from Payson High.
